Fans and staff that had work with them before all agreed on one thing: "We’ve always known Tohoshinki as a harmonious group who, crowned as a dance idol group in Korea, is shining brightly in Japan now." While commenting on it, the staff then realized that Tohoshinki's popularity has went higher than expected, reaching an unimaginable point.
The “PINKY” candy that they have endorsed had reached the peak of its sales. In the world’s biggest music store (in Japan), the giant posters found on the wall were mostly of Tohoshinki and The Beatles. The salesperson-in-charge stated that, "Tohoshinki's albums are very popular, therefore we would set up a special counter at the center of our store just for all their albums. Whenever they released a new album, it would take the first place of many music charts; they are very popular."
Staff from Japanese media KNTV commented based on Tohoshinki’s popularity, "The recognition of Tohoshinki and the other Hallyu stars are different. Tohoshinki didn’t go to their current height (status) with Hallyu wave, but as a five-member Korean group, debuting in Japan as J-pop singers. During their debut, they went through the same path as all the other newbies in the music industry who attended small events, and personally visiting TV stations to promote their album. During their debut stage, they performed at a place where there wasn't even a stage, with only 30 people in the audience. But at the same time, they were the top in their motherland as the idol group with the most potential, winning many different awards, and attending different awards ceremonies.
