Ever since Jejung (23), Junsu (22) and Yuchun (23) filed a lawsuit against their Korean management company over contract issues, rumours have been abound regarding this popular group from Korea, who attended the rehearsals for Kouhaku Uta Gessen on 30 December. Although all 5 of them stood on the stage together, they were split into 3 versus 2, and there was no conversation between them. There was a continuation of the previous day, where they gave off a tense atmosphere.
During the rehearsals for the opening and ending, which involved all the artists, they stood behind others. Junsu, Yuchun and Jejung were laughing and talking to other artists, while Yunho (23) and Changmin (21) were looking downwards. It was also seen that when they were returning to the waiting room, they divided into 3 and 2.
After the Kouhaku Uta Gassen rehearsals, they attended the Japan Records Award where 「Stand by U」was awarded with an Excellence Award. Even here, the mood between the 3 and 2 also seemed awkward. When asked to make a comment, Yunho said, "Looking over the year, I'm very happy that we were finally able to stand on our dream stage, the Tokyo Dome." However, although these 5 people can be proud of breaking through an impregnable fortress with their success, it felt like the relationship between them has changed.
The promotions for their new single「BREAK OUT」which will be released on 27 January 2010 and their 'Best Album', which will be released 17 February, have no been decided yet. The Kouhaku Uta Gassen on the 31st, followed by the TBS 「CDTV Special! New Year's Eve Premier Live」(11.40pm), might very well be their last performance together.
