This broadcast concentrates on the drama “Heading to the Ground,” where TVXQ’s Yunho (U-Know) took his first leading role as Jung Yunho. It will start on Sunday the 24th under the Japanese title “No Limit” and comes, of course, with unabbreviated subtitles. It will be aired at 9:45 PM on KNTV. “Heading to the Ground” tells the story of a nameless soccer player who succeeds in becoming a member of an established soccer team. Many fans are anticipating this Japanese broadcast, where Jung Yunho, member of the group TVXQ (who is very popular in Asia), is starring in. It has already been garnering huge attention even before the start. The slightly changed title of “Heading to the Ground” has a special meaning. Let’s try to think about what meaning it has! The answer is, because there is a special corner of the drama called “Navicon.”

Cha Bong Gun, who is portrayed by Yunho, is a young man who has been struggling since his childhood to continue playing soccer, and has become a member of a nameless soccer team. During the press conference for the upcoming drama "Heading to the Ground", the PD, Park SungSoo, revealed that he didn't know the Yunho cast for the main role was the Yunho from the popular idol group TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki.

The reason for this is because Yunho signed up for the role under his real name of Jung YunHo. The PD also mentioned that when he realized it was the actual Yunho from TVXQ, he was surprised at how humble and nice he was. Yunho didn’t act pretentious or like a big shot from the biggest boy band in Asia. Yunho broke the stereotype that the PD had for a typical idol star.

The PD said when he first met Yunho, Yunho told him about his harsh experiences as an early teen. When Yunho went from small town Gwang-Ju (southern portion of South Korea) to Seoul, Yunho grew up on the streets, not having a home and having to do menial jobs to get by. Because of this, the PD thought that he really knows what hardship is like and he can use those experiences for his role and make this drama come to life.

It's good to see that someone like Yunho, who had nothing and grew up on the streets could one day become a big star in Asia.

Jung Yunho, Go Ara, Lee Sangyoon, Lee Yoonji and all staff members of MBC's drama "Heading to the Ground" kept fighting until the end of the drama, and held a farewell party. "Heading to the Ground" has been tagged as a good sports-related drama series which is also fresh and warm. On the afternoon of the 5th of November, all crew members and actors held a farewell party and everyone said, “We did not worry much about the ratings; instead, we were happy during the whole filming period.” They watched the last episode together, with bittersweet feelings.

Jung Yunho (Cha Bonggun), Go Ara (Kang Haebin), Lee Sangyoon (Jang Seungwoo) and Lee Yoonji (Oh Yeonyi) took a photo with everyone, and at the same time, expressed their gratitude.

Nowadays, the critiquing of dramas takes its basis from ratings.
When the rating are high, a drama is seen as successful and good, while low ratings make a drama, as well as the actors, a failure. This is why the deciding factor of most of the media's critiques of a successful actor and a failed actor depend on whether that actor was in a drama with high or low ratings.

U-Know Yunho of MBC's 'Heading to the Ground', which ended on the 4th on a gloomy note with 16 episodes, received such appraisal as well. But U-Know Yunho was different. U-Know Yunho, who temporarily left his title as leader of idol group TVXQ that swept all of Asia of its feet to try his hand at acting, grew as an excellent actor despite the fact that his drama received low ratings. Instead of drawing the limit from failure, he worked harder to improve his acting skills.

U-Know Yunho was rediscovered through 'Heading to the Ground'. During the drama, he showed the viewers who actor Jung Yunho, not singer TVXQ's U-Know Yunho, was. His character Cha Bong Goon was more memorable because he was not a cool character, but one who seemed to be lacking in some way. He showed everything from bizarre facial expressions to comical dancing. Although the charisma of TVXQ he had built up since his debut had disappeared, he was able to show everyone the birth of Actor Jung Yunho.

TVXQ's U-Know Yunho, who now has five years of a singing career under his belt, has evolved into a talented singer but has just begun to mature as Actor Jung Yunho. Tohoshinki’s YUNHO (Jung Yunho) has finished the last shooting for the Wed & Thurs drama “Heading To The Ground” (MBC).

A related person said on Nov 3 “The last shooting was a soccer scene. It was piercingly cold so that it was much difficult than previously shootings. The staffs wore thick jackets, but all the actors playing soccer (including Jung Yunho) only wore soccer wear (short pants), so it should have been difficult.”

This day, Jung Yunho shot a scene being accidentally toppled by another player, committing many fouls. But he did not forget to smile till the end, and have done his best. All were very impressed. The other actors was influenced by Yunho, and pumped up thinking “Let’s take care of ourselves not to be injured, and hang on till the end”.

Tohoshinki’s Yunho (Jung Yunho) starring drama "No Limit～Heading to the Ground" will be on-aired in Japan.

Avex has stated in their homepage that the drama will be on-aired on KNTV from Jan 24 next year. The drama will be broadcasted every Sunday from 9:45pm.
KNTV will broadcast a special program for this drama on Dec 23.

“No Limit～Heading to the Ground” is gathering expectations from Japanese and Asian fans, since the drama is the debut work of Yunho.

2. KNTV Japan is not one of the main broadcasting channels but one of the cable television (CS) channels on Sky Perfect TV!, a CS channel provider. With MBC's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Heading to the Ground' coming to an end, actor Jung Yunho (U-Know Yunho) received a special gift from his fans.

Jung Yunho has already visited his high school in Gwangju as well as a nursing home to donate in January and went back in July with friends to help out the community at an orphanage without telling anyone of such deeds so as not to draw attention. As the fans have seen him donating and helping out frequently and continuously, they have decided to donate as well.

U-Know Yunho fansite 'WISH', who frequently donates or performs community service on U-Know Yunho's birthday, helped out kids in unfortunate conditions who wished to play soccer by donated to a project-based donation organization that aimed to help young children play soccer. On the 31st, they donated 1 million Won worth of soccer items to three soccer teams that were chosen by the MBC Dream Tree Soccer Foundation.

MBC drama "Heading To The Ground" will call its early ending after the 16th episode airing this November 4th. The drama was previously planned to have 20 episodes, however due to the poor rating record, finally its episodes are cut and will finally have an early ending.

“Heading To The Ground” crew on the 29th after the broadcast of the 15th episode said, "The final episode will be aired next Wednesday," announced such caption informing the viewers.

The drama ending episode is too early even than the previously expected, caused many dissapointment from the viewers.

Earlier before, on last November 14th, "Heading To The Ground"crew confirmed, "The final is planned to happen after 18th episode." Therefore, "Heading To The Ground’s" successor "Heroes" would kick off its first broadcast on November 11th, a week earlier that it’s previously scheduled.

Nevertheless, after the episodes were cut by 2, it went another further drop to only 16 episodes which is shorter than it’s first announced, gathering strong complains from the viewers.

After the announcement of "Heading To The Ground" early final, the drama message boards was flooded with many dissatisfaction messages from netizens. "20 episodes were cut to 18, and now to 16… it’s really too much. Next time I won’t watch drama which has low TV rating anymore." "With the unfinished problems being left in the drama, I really don’t know how they’re going to solve it. This sudden reduction will leave the storyline development being absurd." "If the rating is good, the episodes are extended, when the rating is bad, they’re cut. The viewers seem to have no rights at all."

Meanwhile, "Heading To The Ground" is starring popular idol group TVXQ’s Yunho who is starting his acting career for the first time. Modern actors Ara, Lee Yoonji, and Lee Sang Yoon have been co-starring with Yunho in the production and received lots of anticipation. However the series has been receiving much criticism of acting skills, uncreative story development, etc and been ignored by netizens.
