[TRANS] 100219 New York's Popular FM Radio Introduced TVXQ

The US' biggest scale FM radio introduced TVXQ songs.
Having 500 million listeners, Z100 (WHTZ) FM radio, introduced the audience to TVXQ's "BREAK OUT!" on the 18th,
through the morning show "Elvis Duran & the Morning Zoo."

Elvis Duran Show is a famous programme that introduces popular pop music around the world.
During the "Top Songs from Around the World" segment, they introduced TVXQ's "BREAK OUT!" and discussed about
how the song created huge waves in Japan when it was released.

The listeners cannot help but feel delighted as they were able to hear Korean boyband TVXQ's voices.
In addition, following a successful debut in the US by the Wonder Girls, listeners were hoping that TVXQ can break into the American market in the near future.

On the other hand, last month, TVXQ released their 29th Japanese single "BREAK OUT!" on 27th of January. The single garnered first on the Oricon Daily and other charts.

In this way, TVXQ, who have long been seen as foreign singers, broke the original record of the weekly Oricon Chart by having 7 consecutive wins (The original was 6).

[INFO] 100221 DBSK Japanese Fans Listen To Their Music Up To 3 Hours Daily

About half of the Japanese fans of the famous music group Donbangsinki/TVXQ reportedly listen to their music for two or three hours every day. Japan's major music web store HMV surveyed 3,846 users before releasing Dongbangsinki's first best-of album 'Best Selection 2010' and found that forty-nine percent of the people surveyed spend two tothree hours listening to their music every single day.

The enthusiasts, who listen to their music for over 10 hours per day, consisted of five percent of those surveyed. Seventy-two percent of the respondents said that they have never visited S. Korea since becoming fans of Dongbangsinki. Meanwhile, twenty-two percent of those surveyed said they visited S. Korea one to three times, and one enthusiastic fan of Dongbangsinki has visited S. Korea forty times now.

The respondents answered the question 'How long have you been a fan of Dongbangsinki?' as follows. Seven percent, twelve percent, twenty-one percent, twenty-nine percent, and thirty-one percent of the respondents replied "since their debut in Korea," "since their debut in Japan," "three years," "two years," and "one year," respectively. The results show that the group is becoming more popular lately.

They answered the reason they like Dongbangsinki as follows: "teamwork" for thirty-seven percent, "outstanding singing ability" for twenty-four percent, "the group members' personalities" for sixteen percent, "their performances" for eight percent, and "their appearance" for one percent.

1. While teaching the singers, is there any particular part which you pay more attention to?
To those wasn’t good, and still was the same even after practising for several years, I wouldn’t say much to them. However, to those who could do it, yet didn’t want to place any effort, I will impose them physically. I had taught more than 200 students such as TVXQ and SNSD’s Taeyeon etc and none of the students had not been beaten by me. For TVXQ, I beat them with the ski stick till it broke. After beating them, what they said was, “Thank you.”

2. Who are the most impressive students?
I felt that they were Taeyeon, Jaejoong and Junsu. It does not mean that I had taught the others lesser, but it was that most of the time they could not understand what I had said.
